Safety routines
Sign-in and the deck
Swimmers sign in at the front desk, rinse at the showers and wait on the bench until the instructor calls their level. Walking feet on the deck, every time.
In the water
An instructor is in the water or on the step beside every swimmer. The younger levels hold hands or a kickboard; every level practices getting to the wall.
Adults at the pool
A parent or guardian stays on site during every class. Lessons are no substitute for adult supervision, in our pool or any other.
When a swimmer is unwell
Please keep a swimmer home with a fever or a stomach bug. We offer a make-up class and rinse the deck and benches every evening.
Weather and closures
We tell families by text when the pool closes, and a class missed for a closure is made up in the same session.
Telling us things
Tell us about anything we should know at the placement visit. We ask privately once you register, never on the website form.
