How tuition works

Our current figures are on the enrollment page, and we are glad to talk them through by phone. Here is what sets tuition and what each part is for.

  • What sets tuition

Tuition depends on the level, the length of the class and how many classes a week a swimmer takes. Water comfort and Floating classes are half an hour; the other four levels are forty-five minutes. A session runs eight weeks, and the enrollment page shows our figures for the session.

  • Registration

A yearly registration covers your swimmer's file, the placement visit and your place in the parent portal. It is due when you register for your first session, and it is once a year.

    • The placement visit

  • Holding a place

The first month of tuition holds a place in a class. If a class is on the waitlist, we offer places by the order families asked, and we call or text the same day a place opens. If your swimmer moves up a level mid-session, we move the place with them.

    • Waitlist places go out in order

    • A level change moves the place

  • Billing

Tuition is billed monthly through the parent portal, with autopay if you like. A month with five classes in it is billed the same as a month with four, and the portal shows each month before it is billed.

    • Autopay if you like

  • Help with tuition

Ask us whether lesson assistance is open this month. We keep a small number of places for families who need help, and we handle each request privately.

    • Ask at registration or any time by phone

  • Siblings

A second swimmer in the family is handled differently from the first. Ask us when you register and we will walk you through it.

  • Missed classes and make-ups

A missed class can be made up in another class of the same level within the session, space allowing. When the pool closes for weather or repairs, the class is made up too, and illness is handled the same way. Tell us as early as you can.

    • Make up in the same session

    • Pool closures are made up

    • Illness is handled the same way

  • Uniforms, costumes and other costs

A cap in your swimmer's level color is the one thing we ask every swimmer to wear. Goggles, a swim shirt and a towel come from home; swim shirts are welcome in every class.
