Family policies

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

An instructor is in the water or on the step beside every swimmer, and the board on our safety page shows how many swimmers each instructor has in each level. Parents watch from the bench behind the glass wall, or from the deck by the steps. We ask that a parent or guardian stays on site during every class. Lessons are no substitute for adult supervision.

Swim shirts are welcome in every class. Please tie long hair back, wear goggles if your swimmer likes them, and bring a towel. We ask every swimmer to wear a cap in their level's color.

Please keep your swimmer home with a fever, a stomach bug or anything that spreads, and tell us so we can offer a make-up class. We rinse the deck and the benches every evening.

We close the pool for holidays and for repairs, and we tell families by text and on the parent portal. A class missed because the pool was closed is made up in the same session.

Please give us two weeks' notice before a swimmer leaves, so we can offer the place to a family on the waitlist. What happens to a session in progress is on the enrollment page.

After class the instructor hands each swimmer back to a parent or a grown-up named on the registration. If someone new is collecting, tell the front desk before class.

Brothers, sisters and friends are welcome on the bench behind the glass wall. Please keep them away from the pool's edge, and keep strollers in the lobby.

Please keep phones away from the water's edge. Photos of other families' swimmers are not allowed on the deck.
